SOFTSWISS, a global iGaming technology provider, joined two AI-focused discussions at DOERS Summit Limassol 2026. Chief AI Officer Denis Romanovskiy spoke about AI accountability, European regulation, and how growing companies adopt AI in practice. The sessions explored how scaling businesses assign accountability as AI starts influencing compliance, operations, and commercial decision-making.

Romanovskiy first joined the invite-only “United Cultures: Economic Diplomacy Brunch”, organised as part of Cyprus’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union programme. The session brought together diplomats, business leaders, and technology executives to discuss Europe’s position in the global AI race.

During the panel “Europe in the AI Era: Positioning Between Global Superpowers”, participants discussed how European companies balance AI integration with growing regulatory pressure under frameworks such as the EU AI Act and GDPR.

Later the same day, Romanovskiy joined the panel “Who Owns AI in Your Company? The Rise of the Chief AI Officer”, alongside technology and commercial leaders from Andersen and ITML.

The discussion focused less on AI tools themselves and more on organisational responsibility. Speakers explored what happens when AI adoption spreads faster than internal governance, especially in companies where teams move quickly and ownership overlaps across product, legal, compliance, and commercial functions.

Denis Romanovskiy, Chief AI Officer at SOFTSWISS, said: “Many companies already use AI across multiple departments, but responsibility often remains fragmented. The main challenge is defining who owns the impact of those systems on customers, operations, and compliance.”

The conversation also questioned whether every business needs a dedicated Chief AI Officer. Romanovskiy argued that for many growing companies, assigning clear accountability matters more than adding another executive title.

Alongside the speaking programme, SOFTSWISS hosted a branded ice cream truck at the summit venue. Founders, operators, investors, and technology leaders used the space to continue discussions outside the conference sessions.

The appearances at DOERS Summit followed several recent technology launces from SOFTSWISS, including the Prediction Markets Platform, AI-related workflow automation tools within the Casino Platform, and the company’s internal cybersecurity platform Pipeguard, which recently received a Global Tech Award 2026.
